Most of what you want to know before signing up is what the thing actually looks like. So here it is: the dashboard where your cards live, the editor where you make them, the envelope that lands with your recipient, and what you can see once it has been opened.
Every card you make sits in your dashboard, with its photo, its title and whether it has been sent yet. Pick one up where you left it, duplicate it for next year, or check how a card you sent last week is doing. Drafts stay private until you send them, so there is no rush to finish anything in one sitting.
The front takes a photo, a scan or a PDF, and you drag it around until it sits right. The back is where you write, in a handwriting font, with the address block and a stamp already laid out for you. Switch between the two sides as often as you like; everything saves as you go.
They get a link, not an app. Tapping it fills their screen with a paper envelope that opens on its hinge, and the card slides into view. They can turn it over to read your message, and open it again later on their phone, tablet or laptop. No account, no download, nothing to install.
Once a card is out, you can see whether it has been opened, how many devices it has been opened on, and when. It is the part that paper post never gave you: quiet confirmation that the thing you made actually got there.
Your first card to one recipient is free, so you can go through all of this yourself before deciding anything. After that each recipient uses one credit, credits never expire, and there is no subscription running in the background.
